The Forest hid many secrets deep within the vary soil. What may look like a tree could very well be the eyes of some strange beast ready for it's next victim. He stood alone against the forest where no man travelled alone. He can remember hunting parties to this forest. That was then and this is now.
Through the first Day Rom Travelled. He knew that it would take three full days of travel to reach Vacca and Serena. He Still had "The forest of Hanuka" to travel through. The forest would be a better place to travel through during daylight. He rested here on the first day before he ventured to the forest.
Rom Looked back to where he had travelled from dreading the thought of venturing through the forest. He knew that one fatal step in the forest may mean his own death. For this enchanted forest was full of beasts of all kinds. The forest had once been a good place to hunt. Until the day of the Changling's changed the forest. He must be careful and not trust any beast that wandered his way.
Several Hours deep within the bowels of Hanuka, Rom encounted a beast as he made his way through the forgotten trails. The beast appeared from nowhere knocking him off balance. It's huge claws and fangs flashing at Rom. The beast lashed out only to feel the power of Rom's sword. The glint of Roms sword in the eyes of the demon told the demon it had a beast that it would best steer clear of. The angry beast launched it's attack. The beast swinging with a club which glanced off Roms Shield. The battle waged on for fifteen minutes. Each of them not giving the other any ground. Finally, the beast made it's first and only mistake. Rom struck as the beast realized the mistake. It was too late for the beast to protect itself as it crumpled into a heep. Roms Sword had struck deep within the Beasts side. Rom did not let up knowing the beast would not give in. Rom pulled two daggars from their scabbards striking the beast in both shoulders as it turned to recover. The beast let out a mournful howl, writhing in pain. The beast knew that it had succum to Rom's weapons. It's knees buckled the beast falling back onto the ground. Rom took his final strike pushing his sword deep within the beasts heart. The battle was over.
